I sat on the ground at the boat harbour to draw this. I felt a bit self conscious as everyone started emerging from the boat as I was obviously drawing it. I thought it was empty! I have never drawn a boat before and don't know much about them. It was fascinating.
Superstitions: Nipples
According to a strange middle-european superstition, it is possible to tell from a man's nipples whether or not he has fathered children. If they are pink in colour, then he has not - while if they are brown, then he has!

This was done on the spot with a fountain pen in my moleskine. During this time of Covid, Australia is a bit of a haven for some travellers. We have always had loads of oversea tourists. I imagine the couple who lived in this van had decided to wait it out. I was fortunate in that they were repacking while I was drawing, so I had a bit of time.
